Welcome to Archies Creek Hall

The Archies Creek Hall is a rare place. It sits proudly in a little hamlet with 16 houses, a tennis court, a pub, an evangelical chapel, a junkyard and a phone box. The Archies Creek Community Hall was originally built in 1904. The land was donated to the community by a local farmer who wanted a hall built and the community has owned and operated it ever since. It's a very unusual set up. A community asset that needs to be treasured.

The hall’s got a rich history. Check out the history section on this site. It used to host full moon dances so the local farmers could get home safely by the light of the moon. Things have changed.

The Archies Creek Hall is above all a community space and can be hired by anyone to be used for anything within reason. It’s a great place for a wedding, a wake, a work party or whatever else you might want to use an iconic hall for.

It sits on a half acre block with a tennis court and grounds for outdoor entertainment. Great views of farmland, rolling hills and the snaking tree lined creek out the back.

The Caravan Music Club ran the Archies Creek Hotel for four years and occasionally hired the hall to put on gigs. They finished operating mid 2024 and left behind the legacy of a world class sound system in the hall. A sound system that can only be operated by qualified professionals. We can put you in touch with such people should you wish to put on your own gig. There’s also a basic sound system in the venue for anyone to use.
